John Stevens

With a history of driving strategic change and leading profitable growth, John has held a number of leadership positions over his distinguished 30-year career.


John’s most recent CEO experience was with ENTREC Corporation, a heavy lift and specialized transportation provider with 15 locations across Western Canada and the United States. Previous senior leadership positions include President and CEO of NC Services Group Ltd.—where he led the company from $36 million to $150 million in annual revenue over a two-year period, CFO at Nilsson Bros. Inc.—a vertically integrated agri-food company that grew significantly to nearly $1 billion in annual revenue during the twelve years he was with the organization, and Senior Vice President and CFO at Eveready Income Fund—an industrial services firm that grew from $34 million to $519 million in annual revenue during his five-year tenure.


John also has significant expertise in acquisitions, divestures, due diligence, and integration—having been involved in over 90 successful transactions with a combined value of over $1 billion.


A life-long learner with a passion for helping businesses grow and succeed, John is currently the President and Co-Founder of Camilla Advisory Group Inc., a management consulting firm that helps small and mid-sized companies achieve their goals.


Recognized for his visionary leadership, John was named a 2013 ‘Leader of Tomorrow’ by Business in Edmonton magazine in 2013. He was also a regional (Prairies) finalist for EY Entrepreneur of the Year in both 2013 and in 2015, and was named “one of the ten executives you need to know in the oil sands” by Oil Sands Review Magazine in 2014.


John understands the need to give back to the community and has actively volunteered with non-profit organizations such as Kids Up Front, the Christmas Bureau of Edmonton and Prostate Cancer Canada—who awarded him with the distinguished Canada Community Advocate Award.


John is currently a board member of ESOP Association Canada. He previously served a two-year term on the Petroleum Service Association of Canada board, and was the local board chair for Financial Executives International, an organization he was involved with for over a decade.


John is an avid cook who enjoys spending time with his four adult children, traveling, investing, and NFL football. He has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta and has been a CPA/Certified Management Account since 1993. Edmonton born and raised, John’s roots take him back to the family cattle farm north of the city.
