Glenn is a champion of organizational culture and operational excellence and has over 25 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, logistics, and operations across multiple industries.
As Regional Director, Operations (Country Leader) for Amazon, Glenn was accountable for all Amazon fulfillment operations across Canada, including long-term strategy development and deployment. In this role, Glenn directed over 8,000 employees and was responsible for capital projects of $350M/year and operating budgets of $730M/year. Glenn also served as an Officer and Board of Directors member of Amazon subsidiaries operating in Canada and represented Amazon’s Canadian operations at regional, provincial, and federal government levels. During his tenure, Glenn successfully scaled Amazon’s Canadian fulfillment operations through multiple consecutive years of more than 50% year-over-year volume growth.
Other leadership positions held by Glenn include Vice President, Manufacturing Operations and New Product Introduction (NPI) for Blackberry; General Manager, Manufacturing for Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada; and Director, Operations for Honeywell.
At Blackberry, Glenn was responsible for over 2000 employees across production, engineering, planning, and procurement, and an operating budget over $160M. During his tenure, Glenn successfully transformed Blackberry’s high-volume manufacturing plant into a best-in-class New Product Realization Centre and led manufacturing and supply chain teams in the launch of new hardware products from prototype and development to full production.
At Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada, Glenn served as a member of Toyota’s global executive team and Canadian leadership team responsible for managing three automotive plants and over 7000 employees. Glenn’s direct responsibilities included the manufacturing and operations of the Lexus Plant, where he directed over 1000 employees and oversaw capital projects over $33M and operating budgets over $220M. Under Glenn’s leadership, the Lexus Plant was awarded the prestigious 2010 JD Power Gold Plant Award for the highest-level quality of any vehicle plant in North and South America.
At Honeywell, Glenn directed over 600 employees and led a $160M/year aerospace electronic manufacturing and repair services business—including manufacturing, operations engineering, product certification, new product introduction, and facilities and equipment engineering.
In 2019, Glenn made the decision to focus his time and energy to support the development of other business leaders and executives and co-founded High Performance Leaders Inc. Since then, Glenn has provided coaching and support to hundreds of businesspeople across all organizational levels at companies of all sizes.
