Nick Dean

Nick is President & Director at Keg Restaurants Ltd. (The Keg) and is responsible for leading the current and long-range objectives, strategies and policies for the organization. Having held a CEO or President role since 2013, Nick is a hospitality and people-focused leader with strong experience in businesses that prioritize exceptional customer service, brand consistency, and a world-class workplace. 

Throughout his career, Nick has worked with a variety of stakeholders, including founders, owners, boards, and corporate directors. He is well versed at managing complex stakeholder relations in dynamic organizational structures. With a track record for successfully growing several complex consumer and professional service businesses, Nick is an entrepreneurial and empowering leader with a reputation for innovation, integrity, curiosity, and enhancing operational excellence.

Prior to joining The Keg in 2019, Nick was the President & CEO of Emblem Corp. and prior to that, he was the CEO of KBS Canada, The Keg’s advertising/branding agency.

He is a graduate of McMaster University (H. BComm) and Ivey Business School at Western University (MBA).

Nick and his wife Becky and their three children Skyeler, Story, and Ashton relocated to Vancouver in 2022 and are enjoying it very much.
